For some people converting United States standard measurements to metric is entertaining, for others it is essential. As we did the final check on this tool kit we found an error of one decimal position and were reminded of a similar error causing the loss of a very expensive Mars Mission probe. You may not be working on rocket science, but if you have a European customer needing a building that is 15.5 meters by 48 meters x 5 meters, it won't hurt to be able to make the conversion.
